Suzuki will be exhibiting its iV-4 Compact SUV concept at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show which will take place in September. The company has released teasers of its new concept and images suggest that the 5-seater SUV carries a 5-segment front grille, sporty headlamps, bold yet stylish bumpers and sporty finish to roof-top.
The company has stated that the concept car has Suzuki design traits such as 5-segment front grille and clam-shell shaped bonnet. The designers have worked on building a model which looks futuristic and holds innovative design concepts. The rectangular design of fog lamps, stylishly shaped headlamp and two roof-top lights indicates that the car may look more commanding and sporty. While few critiques suspect that the raising window line and sloping down roof-line are inspired from Range Rover Evoque, the company has said that the concept will inherit specific Suzuki design attributes which will make it stand apart from other cars.
Meanwhile, the company’s Indian subsidiary, Maruti Suzuki has plans to enter LCV market by bringing out a vehicle based on Suzuki Carry platform. The product which may be powered by a two-cylinder engine is expected to come on road in next two years.
