Face-lifted Ford Everest (Endeavour) Launched in Indonesia

The refreshed 2013 version of Ford Everest (known as Endeavour in India) has been launched in the Indonesian market at 356.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx. Rs. 21.10 lakhs). The sporty SUV receives minor tweaks on its exterior and stylish upgrades in its interior. The face-lifted SUV is expected to reach the Indian shores by 2014.

Powered by a 2.5L TDCI diesel engine, the SUV generates maximum power of 143 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. The engine comes with the option of automatic and manual gearbox. The new face-lifted Everest is offered in both rear and wheel drive versions.

On its fascia, the SUV features new bumper, power-doom hood, side & rear glass, revised headlamps & fog lamps and a new front grille. Featuring all-black upholstery in its interior, the SUV looks attractive and sportier than the beige interior in the current model. In addition, the SUV receives centre console, new steering wheel, cluster graphics, new door trim, tilt adjustable steering wheel, GPS navigation system and many more.

The face-lifted Ford SUV comes loaded with safety features such as ABS with EBD, dual airbags plus side airbags, parking sensor, keyless entry with immobiliser, child safety lock and burglar alarm. The 2013 Ford Everest will compete with competitors such as Nissan X-Trail, Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-7 and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
