Ssangyong has revealed its facelifted Korando C SUV. Unveiled at the Seoul Marina in Yeouido, the new Korando C has undergone a major facelift. The Korando C is a handsome looking SUV and is much more sportier than the beefier Rexton. In its facelifted avatar the new Korando C looks even better than before! At the front the new look features projector headlights with a black bezel and LED position lights. The grill is the same color as the vehicle body, along with chrome molding, and the air intake grill is in line with the bumper.
Move to the rear and the design has been changed here too! A C-shaped guide light, representing the identity of the Korando C, has been introduced in the rear combination tail light and the embossing of the Korando C lettering stands out much more.
What will certainly catch your eye are the newly designed headlights which have projector lenses enveloped by a black aluminum bezel. Also as is the norm there are LED position lights. Add the newly designed 18-inch wheels into the mix and you get a very good looking SUV that is bound to go down well with the Indian SUV loving clientele.
As we have said earlier this is a much more sportier offering than the Rexton and that same philosophy is carried on to the insides. The build quality is very good and the black look adds a classy touch. When it comes to features you get a multimedia system which consists of a 7-inch touch screen with a navigation system and advanced 3D map, as well as an Infinity sound system by the Harman Group. Additional options available are a black box, front and rear skid plates, side steps and a washer fluid heater.
On to the engines are the big news here is that there has been an improvement in efficiency by up to 8.4% when driving in Eco mode, giving a fuel economy of up to 12.8 kmpl in 2-Wheel Drive (Automatic Transmission). The manual transmission model gets a fuel economy of 17.2 kmpl. Overall the new Korando C is a tempting proposition and we cannot wait to get our hands on this SUV!
