Jaguar Announces XJ 2014 Model Updates

Jaguar is leaving no stone unturned to attract customers towards its classy saloon Jaguar XJ with a host of enhancements. The 2014 Jaguar XJ carries the true characteristics of Jaguar cars with unparalleled luxury, comfort, high-performance, contemporary design, superior drive quality and elegance. The XJ with new updates will feature enhanced rear cabin, great in-car technology to offer buyers with unmatched luxury and excellent drive experience.

The 14MY XJ features a newly designed 18-inch Manra lightweight forged alloy wheels and soft closing door technology which ensures the doors are closed with lower noise and minimum exertion. While changes in the exterior of the upcoming XJ model is minimum, the interior received enhanced features such as 'airline style' reclining seats with cushion and squab adjustment and three massage programs - Lumbar, Wave/Rolling and Shoulder, to make long drives comfortable and luxurious. It also brings a new centre armrest and Front Seat Activation button which allows control of the front seat from the rear. The Rear Seat Entertainment package comprising of 10.2-inch high-resolution screen which can display inputs from a number of sources the DVD player and digital TV tuner. Passengers in the rear seat are protected from the sun with electric rear-side window blinds. And the Meridian™ Reference Audio System with Conversation Assist feature pick up occupants’ voice by using microphones and pipe them through the speakers to enable conversation on the move.

The 14MY XJ carries a comprehensive range of engines 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, 3.0L V6 diesel engine and supercharged petrol and four 5L V8 petrol powerplants, which makes every drive on any terrain an unforgettable smooth experience. All the XJ 2014 engines will be available with Intelligent Stop/Start system and will deliver their massive power through 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2014 Jaguar XJ 2.0L can sprint from 0-100 km/h within 7.5 seconds.
