Everyone wants to grab a slice of the booming compact SUV segment and since the VW Taigun is still some time away, VW has launched the Cross Polo. The Cross Polo is essentially a Polo with some off-road bits stuck on. The design changes include new ‘Cross’ front and rear bumpers, black side cladding and wheel arches, silver painted mirrors and roof rails, 5-spoke alloys, ‘Livon’ titanium black upholstery. The Cross Polo has a 1.2L TDI engine with 75 PS and a maximum torque of 180 Nm @ 2000 rpm with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Cross Polo will available in 3 different colours namely Flash Red, Reflex Silver and Deep Black Pearl.
Commenting on the launch of the New Cross Polo, Mr. Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt.
