Due to heavy demand from customers for the popular Ford EcoSport (Compact Sports Utility Vehicle), the auto maker has stopped bookings of some of its variants. Delivery of some of the EcoSport’s variants is taking up to nine months. Some Ford dealers have stopped taking bookings for all petrol models as well as for diesel Titanium (O) trim of the EcoSport.

On the other hand, diesel trims such as the Trend and Ambiente are taking up to 100 days to deliver the compact SUV. The EcoSport is available in three 1.5L petrol trims - Ambiente, Titanium and Trend, mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the Titanium trim can be upgraded to 6-speed automatic transmission. All the 1.5L diesel variants - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium (O) are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. Also EcoSport's 1.0L EcoBoost engine which comes in two trims - Titanium and Titanium (O), are too mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.
