Honda Amaze Reaches 30,000 sales in India

The Honda Amaze was one of the most awaited launches for this year and when launched there was an outburst of enquiries and bookings in first few weeks which till now has not stopped. The huge success has now resulted in the Amaze hitting the 30,000 units delivery milestone within few months of its launch. Through Amaze, Honda rolled out its first diesel model in the country and to say further, coming from Earth Dreams Technology, the 1.5L i-DTEC is an engineering marvel. The company has truly displayed its abilities in working towards the needs of the consumer by bringing out large and powerful engine which can provide a mileage of 25.8 kmpl.

Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President – Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. expressed his happiness about the delivery of 30,000 units of Honda Amaze and said, “Honda Amaze was conceptualized, produced and marketed as a family car for the evolving India. We are ecstatic with the overwhelming response received for Amaze since the launch and are delighted having delivered 30,000 Honda Amaze to our customers. Honda Amaze was developed following extensive surveys in India on customer’s needs and requirements setting new benchmarks in the industry in terms of design, packaging, cabin comfort, and fuel-efficiency. Aggressive localization of more than 90% in Honda Amaze has helped us price the Amaze competitively. We are very happy that Honda Amaze has created a fresh excitement in the car market and is being appreciated as customer’s proud, easy-to-use and most comfortable sedan. Honda Amaze has helped us to reach out to many new customers and bring them into Honda fold. Out of the total Amaze customer base, more than 80% are first time Honda buyers.”

Owning to the increase in demand for the Amaze and to shorten waiting period, the company has plans to start third shift production in one of its manufacturing plant which is located in Greater Noida.
