Renault Duster Facelift at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

By   |   12 September,2013

The new Renault/Dacia Duster seems to be have been revealed at Frankfurt just at the right time with Nissan launching the Terrano and the Ford EcoSport busy grabbing chunks of market share. While the India launch is some time away the new Duster will come sooner rather than later. As we have said before it is not a new product just an update.

On the outside you get redesigned grille which has two chrome-plated strips, lower-set air intake and new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights plus new 16-inch “Dark Metal” alloy wheels.

The big change is on the inside with with a redesigned dashboard featuring a center-mounted console. Quality is better now with the new Duster having four new upholstery choices, including leather. Plus there are new-design seats and a reinforced rear bench seat back.

There is a multimedia system including Bluetooth connectivity and sat nav. On the engines front the new Duster gets a four-cylinder 1.2 liter direct-injection turbo engine. Other engines remain the same. For better refinement there is now increased cabin soundproofing.

We hope we get to see the new Duster soon.
