Tata Motors has launched its high-tech showroom in the IT Hub, Bangalore, for enhancing customer experience. The brand-new contemporary-styled showroom offers 3-S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) facility at a single-point hub.
Mr. Ankush Arora, Senior Vice President, Passenger Vehicles (commercial), Tata Motors, on the inauguration said:"India's global and increasingly sophisticated consumer demands deserve a customer experience that offers comfort with technologically-driven features that enhance decision-making. As a part of our committed and rejuvenated customer focus, we are completely revamping the look-and-feel of our dealer network. We are delighted to see an early validation of our strategy.
Tata Motors has moved to seventh position in this year's JD Power survey on sales experiences with a score of 825 index-points, from twelfth position in 2012. There has been a steady rise in our rating across all seven servicing parameters."
The showroom is spread over 4,000 sq.ft. area with over 7,000 sq.ft. exterior frontage which features a new identity signage. It has a luxurious modern lounge area, state-of-the-art video walls, Wi-Fi connectivity, a café, a revamped vibrant display area devoted for a range of accessories and lifestyle merchandise.
Soon the showroom will add a feature where customers can configure their cars online using tablet PC's on the video walls. Focusing on the 3-S facilities like Concorde Motors Bangalore, the auto maker plans to have over 30 showrooms in Southern India.
Revealed a few month, Tata Motors under its HORIZONEXT strategy, is now focussing on sales and service in a big way and of course launching new products like the facelifted Indigo eCS. The HORIZONEXT strategy focuses on two key pillars of customer experience - at the sales point and for after-sales service.
The company plans to provide better vehicle ownership experience and improved engagement between customers and salespersons. Tata Motors knows the growing competition in the Indian auto space and to stay ahead of the race, the company has initiated strategies through which it can gain customers’ confidence.
