Honda Motors never stops at introducing innovative models that cater well to changing mobility demands of growing auto customers worldwide. The Honda Brio Satya ready to be sold this November, is another model that exhibits Honda’s continued efforts for manufacturing better vehicles which brings value proposition. The auto maker expects the hatch to be certified by government as low-cost green car earning tax exemption. Major auto manufacturers are betting big on the long delayed Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) programme to enhance sales. As per the programme, vehicles with engine displacement of 1,200 cc, or semi-diesel and diesel engine with 1,500 cc delivering 20 kmpl or better will be exempted from luxury tax.
The Honda Brio Satya will be available in three variants - A, E and S, using the same platform as that of Honda Brio. Powered by 1.2L SOHC 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine, the hatch is capable of churning out 87 bhp. The new Honda hatch Brio Satya is equipped with safety features such as Pretensioner Seatbelt with Load Limiter, Dual SRS airbags, Immobiliser and G-CON. To improve drive quality and fuel efficiency, the hatch comes loaded with tech features such as Shift Hold Control, Drive by Wire and Grade Logic Control. The Honda Brio Satya is priced at Rp 117 million.
