Just as we had predicted the Fiat Linea Classic starts at Rs 5.99 lakh and there are two variants Classic and Classic+. The Classic petrol is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh while the diesel Classic is priced at Rs 6.96 lakh and the Classic+ (available only in diesel) is priced at Rs 7.5 lakh.
The Linea Classic is be available in 5 colours namely Oceanic Blue, Tuscan Wine, Minimal grey, Hip Hop Black and Pearl White.The Linea Classic has features like Hydraulic Power Steering, Programmable speed limit buzzer, Dual Parabola Headlamps, Fire Prevention System.
As we have said before this is being done to make way for the new Linea which is expected to be launched during the festive season. In essence the Linea Classic is a more affordable Linea and that means it will be competing with cars like the Honda Amaze and Toyota Etios. Thus the Linea Classic will be a big sedan for compact sedan money. To do that there are several features removed but overall you cannot miss the sheer value for money quotient of this car.
Two engine options include a 1.3 diesel making 75 bhp and a 1.4 petrol. The diesel as you see is down on power compared to the current Linea. Still the Linea Classic is worth more than just a look and is expected to bring some sales.
