Tata XENON XT Launched in South Africa

Tata’s new generation bakkie range Tata Xenon XT is launched in South Africa. It has improved safety, performance, comfort, functionality. Available in four variants - Double Cab (4X2), Double Cab (4X4), Single Cab (4X2) and Single Cab (4X4), the Xenon XT is suitable for off-road drives, family holiday trips, construction, farming, and mining, among others.

Carrying muscular looks on its exterior, the four-wheeler comes loaded with tech features such as navigation & Bluetooth and safety features such as ABS & dual airbags. Powered by 2.2L VTT DiCOR (Variable Turbine Technology, Direct Injection Common Rail) engine, the off-roader generates 147.5 bhp @ 4000 rpm and peak torque of 320 Nm @ 1500-3000 rpm. The Tata XENON XT variants is available in South Africa between the price range of R 189 995 to R 269 995.

With the addition of the Xenon XT range, Tata now has a big bakkie. The company’s portfolio comprises of Super ACE (1T mini truck), 207 DI turbo (3.0L worker), the existing Xenon range with eleven variants and the newly launched Xenon XT range with four variants.
