Tata Nano, world’s most affordable car has been proving its performance capacity since the time of its launch. Built with a vision to cater to every Indian’s personal mobility requirements, this mini-car has delivered much more than expected over the years. Adding another feather to its cap, the Nano has been unveiled by Anil Goswami, Union Home Secretary, at the four-day event - 'India International Security Expo', at Pragati Maidan, as the new probable Delhi Police Control Room car which will cater to emergency situations.
On its exterior, the Tata Nano Police Control Room (PCR) vehicle is white in colour and has Delhi Police written on its body with its symbol. The Nano PCR vehicle comes with an array of medical equipment, first aid accessories, traditional red-blue beacon, search lights and a siren. The Tata Nano Police Control Room (PCR) vehicle will be driven by lady police officers to rescue distressed women and children from Delhi streets. Tata Motors has been supplying blue, red and other beacons to government vehicles in India under the brand name ‘Grand’. A total of 92 exhibitors have showcased a number of surveillance, security and safety gadgets at the Security Expo which was held till 29th September.
