As per the Best Global Brands Study released by Interbrand, Nissan is one of the most valuable brands across the globe in 2013. The auto brand ranked 65th, jumped up from 73rd place last year. Nissan was notable in the global scenario with broad range of cars offered for wide bases of customers. The auto brand’s leadership in zero emissions mobility and introduction of Nismo badged performance cars around the globe has improved the company’s wide range of product portfolio. The auto brand value stood at around $5 billion which has been increased up to $6.203 billion.
Nissan LEAF is one of top-selling 100% electric vehicle which made the auto maker global leader in Zero Emissions mobility. The company ranked 5th among 50 brands as per the Interbrand’s Best Global Green Brands report. In June 2013, Nissan has also been one of the greenest brands worldwide.
Interbrand’s Best Global Brands study considers the ongoing investment and management of the brand as a business asset, the role of brand in the purchase decision, strength of the brand and financial performance of the company. Nissan was also noted for its consistent efforts on innovation. Nissan cars in India are increasingly loved by various customer bases across the country.
