Tata Nano seems to have no end to its innovative versions and launching the Tata Nano CNG emax today, the car maker is adding yet another fuel efficient model to the Nano family. The Tata Nano CNG emax is India’s most fuel efficient mini-car which delivers a mileage of 36 km/kg and has the lowest carbon footprint of 75.6 g/km.
With the CNG, the Nano CNG emax offers a touring range of more than 150 km, in addition to the existing touring range of 375 km (in petrol). It comes with a warranty of up to 60,000 kms or 4 years (whichever is earlier) which is quite important. The all-new Nano CNG emax will be available in CNG markets such as Gujarat, Delhi, parts of Lucknow and Maharashtra.
In June this year, the auto maker had revealed its emax range at the Horizonext event in Pune. The Nano CNG emax is one of the five brands in the emax series of CNG cars. The Tata Nano CNG emax comes with bi-fuel option so that one can gear up to gasoline mode when maximum power is required.
Switching between petrol and CNG is made super easy with push-button fuel type selector. It has leak detection sensors and interlock sensor. The Tata Nano emax comes with a starting price of Rs. 2.40 lakh and goes up to Rs. 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi).
