Mitsubishi has teased three of its upcoming concepts which will be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show. The first of the three concepts is the MITSUBISHI Concept GC-PHEV which is a SUV that uses a high output PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) system.
The MITSUBISHI Concept GC-PHEV has something called the S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) integrated vehicle dynamic control system. The MITSUBISHI Concept GC-PHEV as is the norm with concept SUV's has tech like like wireless connectivity. What we like is the styling which is aggressive and will be the face of future Mitsubishi SUV's.
The next one is the MITSUBISHI Concept XR-PHEV which is a compact SUV plug-in hybrid. This is a more compact SUV which offers a coupe like styling more in-line with the Nissan Juke.
The third one is an MPV called as the MITSUBISHI Concept AR. It has a direct-injection turbocharged engine for better efficiency. The MITSUBISHI Concept AR is a MPV providing practicality and is Mitusbishi's idea of what an MPV should be.
Though called as concept's, these three represents the new face of Mitsubishi and its new design language. These concepts will spawn a production version which will replace the current range of the Mitsubishi and in case of the MPV, it will mark the return of this car-maker in the MPV segment.
