Nissan Evalia Gets an Update

It was long expected that Nissan would update its Evalia with new features and now finally that has happened as the updated Evalia has been launched. The major components of this update is basically a refresh of the Evalia with a new variant so as to grab a share of the growing MPV segment.

The updated Nissan Evalia has its new top of the line variant called as XV Option which is priced at Rs 10.73 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The major updates on Evalia come in the form of sliding Euro windows on the middle row, sliding/reclining captain seats in the middle row and 15-inch alloy wheels in the top of the line XV variant.

The 2-din audio system now comes with USB connectivity. Also on offer are rear wiper, rear defogger, anti-glare internal rearview mirror, front row assist grip and glove box lid. A roof mounted 2nd row AC blower will also be available as a direct dealer fitment option.

 Evalia’s XE entry grade starts at just Rs 8.78 lakh while XE+ is priced at Rs 9.22 lakh. XL and XL (option) variants are priced at Rs 9.80 lakh and Rs 10.05 lakh respectively, with the feature-packed top of the range XV and XV (option) grade available at Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 10.73 lakh; all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi.

The Evalia is available in Brick Red, Aqua Green, Blade Silver, Twilight Grey, Onyx Black, Storm White and Pearl White colours plus has ABS+EBD, Electric controlled ORVM & Follow me headlamps as standard in all variants.

The Evalia has no changes done in the engine department and carries on with the 1.5 L 4-cylinder 85 bhp engine. The updated Evalia now wants to take on the new Innova head on and presents value as its main trump card with these new features. Are these changes enough? Only time can tell.
