We saw the 4 Series Coupe some time back and now it is time for the 4 Series Convertible to make its appearance. The replacement for the last 3 Series convertible the new 4 Series represent the new model line to distinguish itself from the 3 Series line. The 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible will again feature a three-piece retractable hardtop. The design just like the 4 Series coupe looks aggressive and has muscle.
The typical design details include double-kidney grille, four round headlights and a large air intake in the front apron. There are optiona full-LED headlights. The new 4 Series convertible is longer, lower and wider than the previous 3 Series Convertible and it shows it.
The change from coupe to convertible takes place in 20 seconds and the top can also be lowered when the vehicle is travelling at speeds of up to 18 km/h which is nice. Just like any other BMW there is the Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport trim available. When it comes to engine options the choices include an inline six-cylinder engine for the BMW 435i Convertible and a four-cylinder unit for the BMW 428i Convertible. The new 4 Series Convertible hopefully will make it to India though at the moment we expect the new Z4 to come next month.
