Jaguar’s evocative new sports car, the F-Type, is already known to us in its convertible avatar. But its hard-top brother will soon be let loose upon us as well.
The F-Type coupe will be launched on the 19th of November at a secret location in Los Angeles, USA; one day before the Los Angeles Motor Show. This new Jag is the production version of the C-X16 concept car developed by the British marque now owned by Tata Motors. It is also worth mentioning that the F-Type convertible is the winner of the 2013 World Car Design of the Year.
"The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for the F-Type Coupé is a very significant moment.”, said Ian Callum, the Director of Design at Jaguar.
The F-Type coupe will be available to the general public in the beginning of 2014. Currently, only the cabriolet versions are on sale – the 335 bhp F-Type and the 375 bhp F-Type S, both powered by V6 engines; and the 488 bhp F-Type V8 S.
