Toyota Kirloskar Motor sells 12,748 units in November 2013

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has sold 12,748 units in Nov 2013 which is more when compared to 11,357 units sold in the same period last year. The Toyota range in India has the Innova and Fortuner which act as one of its main cash cows and with a recent facelift the new Toyota Innova has done well for itself.

The company sold 10,208 units in the domestic market in Nov 2013 as compared to 10,352 units in Nov 2012. The company exported 2,540 units of the Etios series last month.

Commenting on the sales in Nov 2013, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said “The market continues to be sluggish and market sentiments are not expected to improve in the coming months.”

Toyota plans to launch the new Corolla sedan in the future and will have it displayed at the upcoming Auto Expo.
