Toyota Launches New Land Cruiser Prado in India

The Land Cruiser is a name that even someone who is not familliar with cars knows. It stands for toughness, reliability and a reputation that makes it the 4x4 to have. The Land Cruiser Prado is the smaller version of the full XXL Land Cruiser and Toyota has launched the new version in India. There are some changes to the exterior and interior

Exterior changes

1. New grille, Bumper, Fog Lamps, Head Lamps & Rear Combination Lamp

2. New Design Rear License Plate Garnish

3. LED Headlamps and DRLs

Interior changes includes

1. 7" Screen and New Design Optitron Metre

2. Second Row Seat Heater

3. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado also gets Crawl Control which is a system that makes accelerator and brake operations unnecessary when driving over jagged off-road terrain or on slippery surfaces plus Multi-Terrain Select which allows you to choose between various road condition modes- Rock; Rock and Dirt; Mogul; Loose Rock; and Mud & Sand and there is also a Multi-Terrain Monitor which provides a view of the surroundings.

This beast can be yours for a price of Rs. 84.87 lakh (Ex-showroom New Delhi) and there are five colours to choose from, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Dark Blue Metallic and Black along with two interior colors (Flaxen & Black) which also gives you an option of a combination of dark exteriors and lighter interiors or vice versa.

Overall the new Land Cruiser Prado provides an alternative to the German SUV's like the Audi Q7 and Mercedes GL.
