As we had told you a long time back, Isuzu has started local assembly of its MU-7 in India. At the moment the assembly of the MU-7 will be from the Chennai plant of Hindustan Motors’. The D-Max pick-up local assembly will also start soon. Isuzu has also invested in a plant in Andhra Pradesh which will begin production in 2016. Now to the more important bits and that is the pricing as the Isuzu MU-7 has a price-tag of Rs 22.3 lakh BS4 ex-showroom and Rs 22 lakh for the BS3 variant.
Coming to the point of dealers Isuzu plans to have 60 within a few years and one will open shortly. Overall the Isuzu MU-7 is a desirable product and is also priced well plus we came out very impressed after our drive in it. The Isuzu MU-7 has a BS4 Compliant 3.0 common rail diesel engine making 160 bhp and has a manual gearbox. One of the big advantages is the huge amount of space and its presence. Our Isuzu MU-7 review has all the details.
