By   |   26 December,2013

Mugen Motorsports, a tuning firm that is closely associated with Japanese automotive giant Honda, has released their version of the Honda City in the Philippines.

This tweaked City will be produced in a limited run of only 20 units and all of them will be painted Taffeta White. These vehicles will be equipped with Honda’s 1.5 litre petrol engine. This 4 cylinder engine directs the 120 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque to the front wheels via a 5 speed automatic gearbox.

The modifications also extend to the styling of the car, which include a new front grille, front bumper, side skirts and a large rear spoiler. All of these design changes are intended to give the car a sportier look that befits the Mugen badge. The Honda City Mugen Edition costs a 9,76,000 Philippine Pesos which, on direct conversion, changes to a little over Rs. 13.6 lakhs.
