Noted car firm from the Land of the Rising Sun, Toyota, has very silently launched two new variants in the diesel line-up of their hatchback, the Etios Liva. These 2 new range-topping variants are named VD and VD SP (SP standing for Safety Package).
The VD and VD SP variants are powered by the same 1.4 litre D-4D engine that produces 68 bhp and returns an ARAI certified fuel economy of 23.5 kpl. On the inside, these cars get wood finish door handles, a rear defogger, an aux-in & Bluetooth enabled audio system, a tachometer and a leather wrapped steering wheel. They also are good on the safety front – coming equipped with airbags for both the front seat occupants, ABS and electronic brake force distribution (EBD). The VD variant costs Rs. 6.72 lakhs and the VD SP variant is priced at Rs. 7.12 lakhs, both ex-showroom New Delhi.
