At the 2014 Detroit Auto Show the all new Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan has made its debut and it looks fantastic. The 2015 Genesis is a luxury sedan and will go on sale in the US within a few months time. Sporting the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 second gen design language, its classy and very good looking. The latest design philosophy will also grace the other products in the Hyundai range.
Back to the Genesis and it has a single-frame 3D-hexagonal grille with HID headlamps, LED indicators and fog lamps. The side profile shows the long wheelbase but it is again very well contained. The design is a lot similar to the BMW 7-Series which is no bad thing really.
Inside its very luxurious. There has been use of materials like aluminum and matte-finish wood. Genesis seats offer 12-way power front seats, including 4-way power lumbar, heated front seats with available ventilation, as well as available heated rear seats.
The Genesis offers a standard Lexicon system with 14 speakers, with Discrete Logic 7 Surround processing and a 12-channel DSP amplifier with 900-watts of equivalent output. It has an 8.0-inch touchscreen with everything from Bluetooth to navigation, satellite and HD radio, hands-free and app-supporting software. There is a tremedous amount of space inside.
As you can see there is a lot to like about the Genesis and it offers a lot. Styling wise it looks good and its loaded with features and something like this will surely appeal to a lot of people in India. Meanwhile the new Hyundai Santa Fe will make its debut here within a few days!
