Jaguar Land Rover announced today, that it has once again registered strong calendar year growth of 22% in India. It sold 2913 cars over the course of the calendar year of 2013 and this success was primarily due to the launch of some class-leading models, strengthening of its dealership network and customer engagement initiatives taken in 2013.
Indian customers saw the launch of the Jaguar XF with the 2.2 litre diesel engine, followed by a 2.0 litre petrol engine variant. The award winning and stunning looking F-Type was also launched here in July. The Land Rover brand brought the all new Range Rover Sport to India. Jaguar Land Rover India has a network of 19 retail outlets spread across 17 cities and its portfolio in India includes the Jaguar XJ, Jaguar XF, Jaguar XK and the Jaguar F-Type. The Land Rover range includes the all-new Range Rover Sport, Range Rover, Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery 4 and Land Rover Freelander 2.
