Similar to the 5-series GT, this car will be the extended version of 3-series which will be longer, wider and taller than the standard car. The GT version will also have 110mm longer wheelbase than normal 3-series which will make its interiors as spacious as its elder sibling, 5-series.

As per BMW, they have tried to bring down the three characteristics of three different cars into one, i.e. space of 5-series, dynamic style of X3 and bunched packing of 3-series. BMW 3-series GT is likely to make its debut in our Indian market with two different diesel engines. The six-cylinder unit 330d and four cylinder units 320 d; these both engines will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Apart from this, there will three new models from BMW representing their three different sections namely, M, X and i. Firstly, M section will see a new M6 Gran Coupe which will use the same 4.4L V8, twin turbocharged petrol engine of M5. This M version of 6-series Gran Coupe will emphasize on powerful performance as its engine will churn out a power output of 552bhp using a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.

Moreover, India will see the third generation of X5 for the first time. Technically, this car is not much different than its previous generation but BMW has made remarkable changes to this car in order to make it look superior and premium than its predecessor.

The high tech hybrid sports car, i8 will also make its way to India this year. The BMW i8 is the sports car from the future and surely will be the star at the BMW stall due to its stunning looks. Along with these debutants, BMW will also display their whole range of cars at their stall in the Auto Expo 2014.
