We’re at the launch of Tata’s new hatchback, the Vista VX Tech. The biggest issue that plagued the Vista D90, which is still available on sale for customers, was the fact that its prices were too high and that was causing potential customers to tilt in favour of its rivals. The Vista Tech attempts to fix all that.
The Tata Vista Tech, which is available as the top end VX trim comes with dual front airbags, satellite navigation, keyless entry, touchscreen audio system with DVD, drive pro console, backlit steering mounted audio controls, ABS with EBD, Bluetooth connectivity and two tone ebony black and beige interiors. As part of this trim level, there also is a new Blue Chill colour scheme.
The Tata Vista Tech is powered by a 1248cc, 74 bhp, 4 cylinder, common rail diesel engine. This Quadrajet engine returns an ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 22.3 kmpl. The Tata Vista Tech VX is priced at Rs 5.99 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. The total Vista range now has three variants, LS, LX and VX Tech. The Vista VX Tech has the Quadrajet engine and the other two variants only have the BS3 compliant diesel engine.
