The facelifted Linea sedan will make its India debut on 5th February at the start of the 2014 Auto Expo. Fiat had earlier promised many launches and after the launch of the Fiat Linea Classic the new Linea will now take centre-stage. Fiat will also launch the Punto Abarth as we had already told you Fiat has been teasing the brand in its Facebook page.
Back to the facelifted Linea and the styling has been changed from the current model though the basic shape is the same. The front gets the majority of the changes with the new grille, front bumper, new fog lamps and a healthy dose of chrome at the front. The side view remains the same though the rear gets some tweaks with the changed position of the number plate and well, more chrome!
Inside there is a new more premium look to the cabin with a new centre-console with a more upmarket integrated audio system and plusher materials used. Space is the same as before and the facelifted Linea will be well equipped. The engine line-up will not be changed. Fiat has 9 new launches for us and one is already done but the Jeep launch has been postponed so the Expo will be a bigger emphasis on Fiat models with launch of the Punto Abarth and this plus the Punto Adventure.
