The Toyota Corolla has been one of the best selling cars around the globe but the Japanese car giant was never able to replicate that success in India; mostly because the car lacked youthful and engaging appearance that would endear it to younger customers. However, the 2014 version of the Toyota Corolla has just been showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 and one can definitely agree that it is a good looking vehicle.
The vehicle is the 11th generation of the legendary Corolla. The big news is that the new Corolla Altis looks sharp and quite muscular. The design details include new grille, LED headlamps , LED Clearance Lamps (four) along with New 16” Alloy Wheels. Inside gone is the bland look and replaced by sharp, sporty designs. The interior features dual tone color interiors and cyber carbon piano black instrument panel cluster.
The New Corolla Altis has features like- push start/stop button, smart entry, rain sensor, paddle shift, rear reading lamp, rear power socket. New generation 7 inch touch screen, one button operation and voice command capable audio (with USB, blue-tooth, navigation, back camera and mirror link). The new Corolla Altis now also more space than before. The petrol variant is available in both super CVT-i with 7 speed sequential shiftmatic and Paddle Shift, as well as 6 speed manual transmission. The diesel only gets a manual gearbox. The new Corolla ALtis gets launched in May.
