BMW M6 Gran Coupe first look review

M6 Gran coupe is the latest entry to the BMW lineup featuring the dynamic and sporty characteristics of the M6 family. The styling of the car includes M kidney front grille exclusively designed for this new car with full size air-inlets integrated in its front bumper. LED headlights and long bonnet further differentiates this car from other BMW cars.

This four door coupe uses new set of twin spoke 20 inches alloy wheels with longer wheelbase than regular M6 Coupe. The sports car is spacious enough for four people with optional seating of three people at the back. Gran Coupe features sporty and luxurious interiors inside with long list of comfort features such as leather trim, heated seats, head up display, alarm system, park distance control, rear view camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, optional four zone automatic climate control system, Bang and Olufsen surround sound system with loudspeakers and many more.

BMW powers this M6 Gran Coupe with a powerful 4395cc, V8 engine. This engine using M Twin Power turbo technology churns out a massive power output of 560bhp and revs up to 7200rpm giving you a wide range of power to play with. The torque output of this engine of 680Nm is available between 1500- 5750rpm. The car sprints from 0-100km/hr within 4.2 seconds and reaches the electronically controlled top speed of 250km/hr. The new age light chassis also contributes to the powerful performance of this car.

This V8 engine is equipped with a seven speed Dual clutch transmission available with Drivelogic ensuring you optimum power and traction while driving. It’s also available with smart features like launch control function, low speed assistance and auto start stop function to give you maximum acceleration, comfort and efficiency respectively. M6 Gran Coupe is surely one of the best engineered cars from BMW which is prepared to take on the futuristic market of sports car. M6 Gran Coupe will be launched by mid-2014.
