The X3 SUV has been one of the highest selling vehicles for German car firm BMW in India and now, at the Geneva International Motor Show 2014, the company has revealed its latest version.
Take one look at it and it immediately seems more aggressive and tough compared to its predecessor, which looked a bit sedate. The headlights are different and can now optionally be LED units, the trademark BMW kidney grille is more prominent and the bumpers are remodelled as well. Inside, the car is still typically a BMW and everything is made of quality materials and put together very well. The new BMW X3 gets new upholstery colours and designs as well.
The 2.0 litre diesel engine now produces 190 bhp but boasts of better fuel consumption. Depending on the engine, this car can be had with either a 6 speed manual or an 8 speed automatic gearbox. The new X3 gets more features such as BMW ConnectedDrive, a full colour Heads-up display and a parking assistant. When it comes to safety, this new SUV comes equipped with active cruise control, lane departure warning, pedestrian protection, airbags and an Intelligent Emergency Call function.
