Hyundai is all set to enter the compact sedan segment with the Xcent and it will be launched on March 12. Hyundai had earlier revealed the Xcent before the start of the Auto Expo. The Xcent as you can see is based on the Grand i10 hatchback sharing the interior and front-end styling however move to the back and the boot seems well integrated.
Positioned higher than the Hyundai Grand i10 the Xcent will be even more feature rich giving its rivals tough competition. The diesel is expected to form the bulk of the sales and it goes without saying that it will have a competitive starting price. The compact sedan segment has seen a boost over the recent years with the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze and now the Hyundai Xcent plus the Tata Zest and next year Ford will bring the new Figo sedan.
