Mercedes-Benz India announces the local assembly of the new S500

After the massive success of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class and seeing the huge demand for what has been dubbed as the 'best car in the world', Mercedes has announced local assembly for their new S 500. Note that this has been within just two months into its launch. To be assembled at its faclity at Chakan, Pune, the price of the S 500 will now be Rs 1.36 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). The new S-Class has a waiting period of approximately 3 months.

As said earlier due to the strong demand the new S-Class has bookings open for June 2014 delivery.
