After the successful launch of its first product, Datsun GO, the next launches will be of the GO+ MPV and the production version of the redi-GO Concept. Revealed at the Auto Expo 2014 the redi-Go Concept is a much more aggressive design compared to the GO and looks fantastic.
The compact yet crossover like proportions are spot on and though some of the concept like details will not make it, the overall design will be a hit for sure. So basically the redi-GO has five-door hatchback practicality with a rugged SUV stance. The high ground clearance makes it look a bit like the Ford EcoSport with the compact yet muscular proportions.
The redi-GO concept has large wheel arches filled by dark chrome 15-inch alloy wheels, twin character lines running from front to rear and lime green contrasts with matte aluminum-look grey finish for the sills, wheels arches, and bumper inserts.
For cost reasons the interior will look a lot similar to the GO but will be a bit sportier. Ditto for the engine, gearbox. Pricing is key factor and with the killer pricing of the GO expect the production version of the redi-GO to also sport an aggressive price-tag.
