Japanese auto manufacturer Honda has unveiled the face lifted 2014 Civic in Thailand. This new version does not have any major modifications or additions and therefore, it is referred to by Honda as a minor model change (MMC).
The engines have remained untouched and the car is still driven by the tried and tested 1.8 litre, 139 bhp engine or the 2.0 litre, 153 bhp motor. Both these engines are hooked up to 5 speed automatic transmissions. However, a CVT unit still remains unavailable to Honda Civic customers.
The car gets a new honeycomb front grille with chrome accents running along its length. The new Civic also has a striking looking body kit and new 5 twin spoke alloy wheels that look sporty. Step inside and one immediately notices the 7 inch touchscreen infotainment display to which you can pair your smartphone via an HDMI interface. The screen also acts as a display for a multi angle rear camera.
