The arrival of the new BMW M4 Convertible sees BMW M, the company’s in-house tuning division, making another addition to its high-performance sports car line-up that already includes some stunning and highly coveted examples like the BMW M3, M6 and M6.
The new M4 Convertible replicates the performance figures of the new BMW M3 Sedan and the new BMW M4 Coupe but gives the pure joy of open top, wind-in-your-hair motoring the highest priority. The handsome M4 convertible thus has the same twin-turbo 3.0 431 bhp straight six engine- just as it should be.
As of now there is not much more information pertaining to this vehicle apart from the fact that it will return a fuel economy figure of 11-11.5 kpl and that the company has put in extra effort to cut down on CO2 emissions; but with the M4 Convertible, BMW ushers in its fifth generation of convertible high performance cars. The metal roof is now more quiet when compared to the previous gen. All in all it may be slower than its coupe sister but when it looks this good- who cares?
