American auto manufacturer Chevrolet has announced that the 2015 Cruze will debut at the New York International Auto Show a few days from today. The car will feature revised exterior styling, better interior convenience and greater connectivity that includes new text message alerts, Apple Siri integration and OnStar 4G LTE with available a WiFi hotspot.

The dual port front fascia of the car takes styling cues from other Chevrolet vehicles like the Impala and Malibu. The LT and LTZ trim levels also include features like LED daytime running lamps. Several new exterior and interior colours will also be offered for the 2015 model.

The new Chevrolet Cruze offers more standard safety features than any other car in its class. This car comes equipped with 10 airbags as standard including side-impact and knee air bags for front passengers, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist and a rear view camera.

The car also gets other toys as standard such as a 7 inch colour touch screen, additional USB ports and a natural language voice recognition system. Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of passenger car and crossover marketing commented, “We’ve simply made a great, versatile car even better. The Cruze remains a strong entry in the compact segment, with features that continue to bring new customers to Chevrolet. The 2015 Cruze offers more of the features, connectivity and efficiency that are important to today’s customers.”
