The Touareg SUV has got a facelift which includes a new look front-end having larger headlights (now bi-xenon as standard across the range), a deeper new radiator grille with four instead of two horizontal fins and a new front bumper. At the rear there is a re-designed rear bumper to make it look wider and LED rear foglights integrated in the bumper. There are new wheels and colours also.
Inside, the Touareg also gets the option of new colours for the standard leather upholstery, new design accents and new lighting. When it comes to features the Touareg now has automatic post-collision braking system, bi-xenon headlights and a coasting function on the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The entry-level 3.0-litre V6 TDI remains unchanged. The Touareg with its new facelifted version looks better and much more aggressive. In India we can expect this new SUV to be launched. When launched it will compete with the new BMW X5, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and new Range Rover Sport.
