Honda Motor (China) exhibited the world premiere of the concept model for the all new Spirior, the Concept B and the all new Vezel at the 13th Beijing International Automobile Exhibition.
The Spirior was first introduced in 2009 and its advanced technologies have been well received primarily by younger customers in urban areas. The all-new Spirior sees significant advancements in exterior design, performance, technology and safety features. The market introduction of new Spirior is scheduled before the end of this year.
The Concept B is a concept model for a 5-door model developed exclusively for the Chinese market. A cool-looking exterior design and excellent practicality are realized in a compact hatchback style that is popular among young generations in China. The development of a mass-production model based on this concept model is in progress, which Honda plans to introduce to the market in two years.
Honda also introduced the all-new Vezel to enter the middle-class SUV segment, a market that is growing continuously fast in China. Featuring both a coupe-like streamlined exterior design and the practicality of an SUV, the Vezel achieves very high cabin space and fuel economy. Honda is planning to introduce this model to the market later in the year.
