The Audi A7 was a car for people who wanted the comfort and features of an A8 but in a younger, cooler package. With its swooping roofline and purposeful poise, the car’s love it or loathe it looks drew several people toward it. The Audi RS7 is an ultra high performance version of the A7 and now, there’s a new one out.
The large five door coupé comes with new LED headlights and even more enhanced infotainment features. The new car also gets a revised Singleframe grille with the black honeycomb pattern, but the corners are now even sharper than before. Three optional packages – matte aluminum, gloss black and carbon – make the look of the RS7 Sportback even more distinctive. Slight modifications have also been made to the bumper, with its distinctive air inlets.
As an option, Audi provides the headlights with the innovative Matrix LED technology, available exclusively on the RS 7 Sportback with additionally darkened trims. This offer also includes turn signals with dynamic display at the front. The car also gets new paint finishes – Floret Silver, Glacier White, Mythos Black and Sepang Blue.
The business of power is handled by the same 4.0 litre, V8 TFSI petrol engine that belts out 560 hp and an 8 speed tiptronic transmission. For the sake of the environment, this engine also has a cylinder deactivation feature that shuts off individual cylinders to save fuel by up to 15%.
