Volkswagen Polo Facelift 2014 launching in India next month

The Volkswagen Polo facelift is coming soon and here is what you need to know about this facelifted premium hatch. Give it a look and the new detailed face of Polo instantly grabs your attention. The car retains its headlights with black housing for reflectors as before but now features new matte silver finishing giving it a fresh visual appeal.

Moreover, the restyled front bumper now features new set of sleek fog lights which comes with garnishing touch of a chrome line from one end to another. However, day time running LEDs are badly missed in the Indian version.

The car also gets new set of alloy wheels and receives subtle changes at the back which includes re-profiled rear bumper and tail lights. Step inside and you will see the Indian version has also ditched the sporty 3-D looking instrument cluster. The good news though is the addition of silver finish on the central console and piano black detailing on the new steering wheel which  has been reshaped from bottom giving it a much premium and sporty look than before.

The biggest change in the new Polo will be the addition of the new 1.5L TDI diesel engine which will be available in two states producing 89bhp and 104bhp respectively with GT TDI running on the powerful state of engine. The 1.2L three cylinder and TSI petrol units will also be seen doing duty in this new car.

Expect this car to be launched by next month. More details soon.
