The sharp looking Ford Edge has been given an overhaul. This latest version of their crossover is loaded with even more tech, better quality of materials and improved driving dynamics. The 2015 Edge revealed in North America and Europe is all new and it will be put on sale in more than 100 car markets globally.
In the North American continent, Ford will give the new Edge three engine options – a 2.0 litre EcoBoost four cylinder, a 2.7 litre EcoBoost V6 that can produce a power output in excess of 300 bhp and a normally aspirated 3.5 litre V6 engine. All variants will be equipped with dual port exhaust pipes and a six speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Other features include active grille shutters to reduce drag, heated and cooled seats, adaptive steering, air curtain system to increase aerodynamics and so on.
The new Ford Edge also gets a lot of safety features such as Blind Spot information system, front and rear cameras, front and rear parking sensors, lane keeping system, adaptive cruise control with brake assist, cross traffic alert, side parking sensors, Ford Sync system, curve and roll stability control, inflatable rear seat belts and multiple airbags located around the passenger cabin.
