Hyundai knows that the Germans are one of the most speed-crazed human beings on this planet and for that reason, the South Korean company has launched a special version of the car we know in India as the Hyundai Grand i10 called the Hyundai i10 Sport.
This special edition vehicle gets 17 inch matte finish alloy wheels, side skirts, LED daytime running lights and a lot of racy, sporty decals and body graphics in red and black. To increase its sporty performance, the i10 Sport has been lowered by 20 mm for better aerodynamic efficiency. The red theme is carried over to the interiors as well.
Where power is concerned, the Hyundai i10 Sport will be driven by a standard issue 1.2 litre, 4 cylinder petrol engine that puts out a maximum power figure of 86 bhp and a peak torque output of 120 Nm. This is evidently good enough for a 0-100 kph time of 12.3 seconds and a top speed of 175 kph. The fuel efficiency of this car is pretty good too, standing at 20.4 kpl. Prices for the i10 Sport in Germany start from € 13,990.
