Range Rover SVR at Goodwood Festival Of Speed

At UK’s much popular event- Goodwood Festival of Speed, Land Rover has launched the promotional video of Range Rover Sport SVR Prototype. The car is set to go on sale next year and will become the most powerful version of Range Rover Sport till date.

This new car will be more powerful than the current Range Rover Sport having total power output of nearly 545 bhp. The engine specifications of SVR prototype apart from its power output has not been revealed officially but its speculated that it will debut with a 5.0L supercharged V8 engine with its torque output of 680Nm. The torque output of SVR will be more than the supercharged engine used in current Sport.

Given the additional power and torque benefit, SVR is likely to sprint from 0-100km/hr in less than 5 seconds making it the fastest Land Rover ever. Land Rover’s Special Company division will built this new car and it will feature an aggressive body kit as well which will enhance its aerodynamics. Along with the improved performance, SVR will also look sporty with its stylish exterior changes and hence will enjoy distinctive appearance.
