More good news from Hyundai! The South Korean car manufacturer has launched an LPG-powered variant of their very popular Grand i10 hatchback. Only the mid-spec trim level, Magna, will get the LPG option.
Proof of the car’s reputation can be seen in the fact that it has recently become the fastest vehicle to reach the milestone of having 1,00,000 vehicles sold and this figure has been reached in barely 10 months time. Under the bonnet of the Hyundai Grand i10 LPG is the same 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine that delivers a power output of 67 bhp.
This new vehicle will be equipped with features such as a 5 speed manual transmission, keyless entry, front fog lights, power windows at the front and rear, central locking, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, rear parking sensors, a dedicated AC vent for the rear occupants, engine immobiliser and more. Prices for this hatchback start at INR 4.92 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
