Volkswagen will be launching the Polo facelift hatchback at an event in Delhi tomorrow and here we have exclusive images of the Polo facelift in its new colour. This new orange colour is one of the many changes done to the Polo. First of all as is visible from the images there is a new grille, tweaked front bumper, new headlamps, foglamps and new alloys.
The basic styling is very much the same but this facelift adds to its presence. Inside there are bigger changes in form of a sportier three-spoke steering wheel and a new look centre console with a silver finish. Space as expected is the same but the new interior does make it more premium looking than before.
The Volkswagen Polo facelift will continue with its current petrol engine while the diesel will get a new 1.5 engine developing 89 bhp. There is a more powerful version too developing over 100 bhp. It goes without saying that the new Polo will continue to maintain its hot hatch image and be a favourite with the enthusiast. Gearbox options remain the same as before.
Prices will be revealed tomorrow but we think the Polo will not have a big price increase over its current avatar due to stiff competition and the explosion of the compact sedan segment. All in all the Volkswagen Polo which still has its fan-following due to its quality and looks gets a much needed dose of freshness and will certainly attract buyers with this new version.
