Maruti Suzuki has reached the milestone of 1,50,000 Ertigas sold and to celebrate this achievement, the company has launched the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga limited edition. The car gets some changes on its exterior and interior to differentiate it from its standard sibling.
The exterior alterations that this limited edition version gets are a chrome front grille and door handles, a new rear spoiler and decals on the bodywork. This vehicle will also get a new paint job colour, Pearl Blaze Blue, in addition to the others already available. Interior changes include wood finishing in areas like the doors and the instrument binnacle. Limited edition floor mats and a better sound system are also included in the package.
There is no change under the bonnet of the Maruti Ertiga limited edition as it continues to be powered by the 1.3 litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine that puts outs 89 bhp and the 1.4 litre, 4 cylinder petrol motor that develops a peak power output of 94 bhp. This release of this car coincides almost perfectly with that of the Honda Mobilio. It is clear to see what Maruti Suzuki’s intentions are.
