Czech automobile manufacturer, Skoda, has just teased the 2015 model year Fabia hatchback. The company released an official sketch that shows what the new Fabia will look like. Obviously, the production version will be more watered down but we can clearly see that the 2015 Fabia will also adopt the new Skoda design philosophy.
Another piece of good news is that this new version of the Fabia will be based on a revised PQ25 platform instead of migrating to Volkswagen’s MQB platform; which, in simpler words, means that the car’s prices will not go skyrocketing. The engines and transmission units will be carried over from the new Volkswagen Polo. In the outside markets, the Fabia will not only be available as a regular hatchback, but as a station wagon as well.
The most probable debut date for the 2015 Skoda Fabia will be in October of this year at the Paris Motor Show and the car could potentially hit the showrooms early next year.
