Hyundai has again proved with their Elite i20 that how you can always come up with a better replacement for your current car. With fluidic design, Hyundai has again done some brilliant work and in this article, we tell you the major styling differences which differentiates the new, Elite i20 from the current i20.
At first glance, it's quite visible that Elite i20 is significantly longer and wider than the current car. Under the latest Fluidic design 2.0 version, Elite i20 gets stretched headlights at both ends which now extends back into the front fenders which are also longer in length than before and makes Elite i20 look quite similar to any luxury hatchback particularly when seen from either side. The newly added bumper features a completely new hexagonal grille with chrome surrounding which goes well with the sharp styling of the bumper.
You will also notice that the new bumper is now much sharper around the corners housing newly appointed horizontally placed fog lights which looks extremely sporty with the third layer of its slim air-dam. Move to the side and gone are the subtle body lines of current i20 which now gets replaced with sharp lines starting from the end of the headlights merging at the back around new tail lights. The diamond cut alloy wheels, blacked C-pillar and flatter roof also gives it a sporty stance. The re-profiled quarter glass in the rear window along with flat roof indicates better visibility and sufficient headroom for rear passengers in Elite i20 than before.
The fresh dual tone beige and dark brown interiors also enlighten the aura inside. Hyundai has also placed a new multifunction steering wheel in Elite i20 along with new buttons and designing layout. The car gets larger instrument display in its instrument console and gets the taste of hexagonal theme inside as well. The square shaped a.c vents and lay out of central console looks wider and neat despite featuring too many buttons on it. You will continue to enjoy the list of features in the new car as well including a 2-Din music system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted controls, automatic climate control, push button start and rear parking camera with sensors.
The wrap around design of its rear windshield and tail lights add new dynamics to this car. The vertical tail lights are now being replaced by the new lights which are incorporated in its boot gate and C- pillar which along with larger rear bumper makes the Hyundai Elite i20 look quite similar to its sedan siblings. The newly added sporty wiper also gets your attention which goes really well with the rear profiling.
We must say, Hyundai has really worked hard and smart on this new car and it is a big step forward from its predecessor..
